Delaware Technical Community College's softball team made an eventful and historic appearance in the 2021 NJCAA National Softball Tournament in Oxford, Ala. at the end of May.

Five Delaware Tech Baseball Players Earn All-Region Honors
Delaware Technical Community College's baseball team finished the 2021 season as runners-up in the NJCAA Region 19 tournament. Now the program has more accolades, as five players have been named to the NJCAA Region 19 All-Region teams.

Delaware Technical Community College to Host Virtual Commencement for Class of 2021 on June 5
Delaware Technical Community College will host its 53rd annual commencement ceremonies on Saturday, June 5, 2021 beginning at 10 a.m. in a virtual format. Each campus ceremony has been divided into two, for a total of eight ceremonies collegewide, to keep them under an hour in length each.

Scholarship Honors Volunteer Fire Company Member Who Died in the Line of Duty
Delaware Technical Community College will administer a $25,000 scholarship from the Carl M. Freeman Foundation and the Selbyville Volunteer Fire Company in memory of Laura Madara, a volunteer first-responder who died in the line of duty.

Delaware Technical Community College’s three Child Development Centers (located at the Georgetown, Dover, and Wilmington campuses) recently received recognition for commitment and dedication to Delaware’s children and families from the Delaware Department of Education, the Secretary of Education Susan S. Bunting, Ed.D., and Governor John C. Carney.
